This weekend Kiva was proud to participate in the West Oakland Mural Project and East Oakland Collective Food Drive.

The West Oakland Mural Project celebrates and honors the female leaders, artists and activists of the Black Panther Party, past and present, who continue their legacy of organization to support the Oakland community today. We donated funds and food to feed over 100 local families in honor of Black History Month and to stand in solidarity with our Oakland neighbors. Please join us in supporting the mural’s completion by donating today. The mural is located at 831 Center Street, West Oakland and standing before it is a powerful reminder for us all to think globally and act locally.
