Kiva Confections is pleased to announce its recent hire of Tim Morland, who will join the Kiva team as Director of Compliance and Government Affairs. Within these roles, Morland will coordinate regulatory and legal compliance across all of Kiva’s facilities and product lines as well as direct political and policy engagement.

“I believe in the importance of innovation and leading from within the industry. I am proud to join Kiva as they have been a consistent leader within cannabis and have pioneered new segments of the industry,” Morland said. “I look forward to helping to usher Kiva into the next phase of its development by creating a coordinated compliance structure that can serve as an example to other operators.”

Morland comes to Kiva with significant experience in the regulatory and policy arena. Most recently, Morland worked as Compliance and Policy Director for Origin House where he managed and directed compliance for all Origin House acquisitions.
