Kiva Confections was launched in 2010, when California’s legal cannabis industry was still in its infancy. Founders Scott Palmer and Kristi Knoblich Palmer are a young couple who realized that most edibles at the time were clumsily packaged, inconsistent in potency and lacked in flavor. They visited a local chocolatier and a lightbulb went off- chocolate and cannabis made the perfect match! Soon they were making the first Kiva Bars in their San Leandro home kitchen. The bars quickly became in high demand across the Bay Area… paving the way for a full portfolio of leading confections available across the state.
From the beginning, Kiva’s high standards led us to choose the artisan-crafted process of cold water hash in our THC-rich Kiva Bars and Terra Bites.
